What to eat on the fifth day of the Lunar New Year?
On the fifth day of the Lunar New Year, it's time to welcome the God of Wealth!

Firstly, dumplings! Dumplings resemble gold ingots,

When making dumplings, one should “pinch the mouths of Petty Person” 
to avoid disputes in the new year! In the Chaozhou region of southern China, 
people also make rice cakes, which similarly signify “sticking the mouths of Petty Person.”
And don't forget the fish! Fish represents “abundance year after year,
” and eating fish is a hope for a prosperous new year with overflowing wealth! 
Remember to prepare lamb as well! In ancient times, the word for “sheep” 
sounds similar to “auspicious,” symbolising good luck and smooth financial prospects!
