“餐桌宠儿”反说成“美国国家安全威胁” 我惹谁了？
There's an old Chinese saying, "If one wants to impose a crime, 
one can always find a pretext." I, an ordinary Chinese garlic clove,
 have recently become the "Public Enemy No. 1" in the U.S. Congress!
  Senator Scott, does the United States have a vampire army
   that's so afraid of Chinese garlic? How did I, 
   the versatile prince of the dining table, 
   become a "biological weapon" that threatens your national security?

中国有句老话，欲加之罪何患无辞！我这颗平平无奇中国大蒜，
最近竟然成了美国国会的“头号公敌”！联邦参议员斯科特先生，
请问美国是有吸血鬼军队吗，这么怕中国大蒜？怎么把我这餐桌上的百搭小王子，
当成了威胁您国家安全的“生化武器”了？

I grow robustly on Chinese soil, strictly following
 the laws of nature and international standards. 
 Rich in vitamins and minerals, I am a little helper for boosting
  immunity and preventing colds. How did I become the "culprit" 
  that can make soldiers' bodies collapse
   once I arrived in the United States? 
   Is it because my strong scent can scare enemies away, 
   making you feel afraid?

我在中国这片土地上，严格按照大自然的法则和国际标准茁壮成长。
我富含维生素，矿物质满满，是增强免疫力、预防感冒的小能手。
怎么一到美国，就成了能让军人身体垮掉的“罪魁祸首”了？
难道是因为我的味道太冲，能把敌人熏得退避三舍，所以让您感到害怕了？

The label of "great threat" is truly ridiculous. A country 
that can be threatened by garlic doesn't seem that secure
 as they claimed. My only intention is to 
 add a touch of flavor and health to people's dining tables.
  How did I become a stumbling block to "national security"?

“极大威胁”的标签真是让人哭笑不得。一个能被大蒜威胁安全的国家，
好像也不怎么安全了。我不过是想让人们的餐桌多一份美味，多一份健康，
怎么就成了“国家安全”的绊脚石了？
Therefore, this "Garlic Storm" seems to be a boring farce.
