The golden pomfret has become the largest mariculture species in China
According to statistics from the Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences, 
in 2023, the annual production of golden pomfret in China reached 292,300 tons, 
surpassing large yellow croaker to become the country's 
largest farmed marine fish species.
中国水产科学研究院统计，2023年，中国金鲳鱼年产量为29.23万吨，
首次超越大黄鱼成为中国第一大海水鱼养殖品种。
As of the current date in 2024, the total output value of the golden pomfret industry 
in China has exceeded RMB 20 billion. With the growing global demand 
for high-end aquatic products, 
the overseas consumer market for golden pomfret has rapidly emerged,
 making it one of the most exported frozen products from China to Europe,
  America and Southeast Asia.
2024年截止目前，中国金鲳鱼产业总产值已超200亿元。
随着全球市场对高端水产品的需求增长，金鲳鱼海外消费市场迅速崛起，
已成为中国出口到欧美、东南亚区域最多的冻品品种之一。
